The OPG Winter Festival of Lights will be hosting a series of Laser Light Shows this season the shows will take place at three different locations within the tourist area in Niagara Falls, Ontario. They are right across the street from My Cousin Vinny’s in the Fallsview Tourist District.
Thursday January 14, 2016 – Sunday January 24, 2016 four (4) – 15 minute Laser Light Shows taking place at 5:30; 6:30; 7:30 and 8:30pm. In addition to the free shows, attendees can have fun with our interactive laser booth where they can write messages or draw pictures onto a nearby building with laser-lights.

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights transforms Niagara Falls into a palette of breathtaking colour with millions of sparkling lights and animated displays, located within the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland and adjacent tourist districts. The illuminations include the world’s largest Canadian-American Flag, Niagara’s iconic Skylon Tower, the two-story Zimmerman Fountain, and Religions of the World displays. There is no admission fee to view the illuminations but donations are gratefully accepted by Festival Ambassadors at the exit of Dufferin Islands (suggested contribution ($5 – $10 per car; $1 per coach bus passenger), with proceeds used to enhance the lights and displays. Over the past several years, the Ontario Power Generation Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights has made a concerted effort to utilize only LED technology for new lighting initiatives and to convert the Festival’s existing incandescent illuminations.
The Festival’s illumination route is over 5 kilometres in length and travels through the Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands and into the surrounding tourist areas.
While there is no admission fee to view the illuminations, donations to this traditional Niagara Falls attraction are gratefully accepted at the exit of Dufferin Islands. Suggested donations $5 – $10 per car and $1 per person on bus tours. All proceeds are used to enhance the Festival’s lights and displays.
