Introduction to Woodcarving

Wednesday,  August 7, 2013      10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.       Ages 10 and up

The simple and beautiful art of woodcarving is adapted for all ages in this introduction to coaxing shapes and figures from solid blocks of wood.

 

Colour Walk

Wednesday,  August 14, 2013     10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.      Ages 5 and up

Kids, bring your favourite adult and create a colour collection board that lets you explore the many colours found in nature. A fun learning experience!

 

Bird Identification and Hike

Wednesday,  August 21, 2013     10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.      All Ages

Here is your opportunity to learn about some local birds. Join a naturalist for a short presentation on bird identification and a relaxed bird walk. We’ll observe birds in different habitats and learn.
